Hitting a plateau

The word for this week is plateau.  That's P-L-A-T-E-A-U and it's frustrating as hell.
I knew it would be expected at some point, but I wasn't thinking it would be now.  I was hoping since I basically took December off and started January fresh - it would be like starting all over again.  I was completely wrong.
This week I counted calories and exercised.  I didn't drink pop and I ate at home.  I did what I was supposed to do, however, no change on the scale.
I have to say I have had lots of support from those who have heard me bitching the last week and a half.  Bless your little hearts for listening to me, but especially for giving me suggestions on new things to try to help jolt my system.  I have taken a few of the suggestions into play this week and fingers cross by next week the number on scale goes down.
Now that that is over, let's get down to some business.
Things I Loved This Week:
Target's C9 Workout Leggings -  I purchased these through Target's C9 sale (which is still going on) and got two pairs.  I love these.  They are fit, without feeling tight.  Basically, I could live in these pants.  Perhaps these are the new "yoga pants" in my life.
Chocolate Smoothie from Starbucks - On the run from work to a hair appointment, I was starving and my purse was snack-less - it was a dire situation.  I stopped at a Starbucks and ordered this delicious treat.  It was the perfect combination of chocolate and banana.  It's got whey protein and fiber powder so it is definitely filling.
Trader Joe's Pineapple Salsa - This past weekend the hubby and I made baked chicken and topped it off with this spicy tropical condiment.  It is so yummy!  I used it again with the deep dish taco pizza (see recipe below).  Long story short, if you don't have this in your cupboard/fridge - go get it!
Week's Successes:
Getting in my Exercise - Lots of T25 this week. I better have rock hard legs sometime in my life if I keep this up!
Eating at Home and Keeping Up with Meal Planning - Sticking to our weekly meal plan is always a plus!
Week's Misses:
Eating in Frustration - I'm clearly an emotional eater.  I did let my frustrations get the best of me and had a pity party for myself with a delicious Dairy Queen Birthday Cake Oreo Blizzard.  I'm not sure it was really a miss because honestly - TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Recipes to Share:
Weight Watchers Apple Swirl Coffee Cake - Super easy recipe.  Makes the house smell amazing and tastes equally as good!
Ranch Roasted Potatoes - Dangerously addictive in a good way!
Slow Cooker Cheesy Spaghetti - Tastes like lasagna and like all good pasta dishes - tastes better as leftovers!
Skinny Deep Dish Taco Pizza - So fast to whip up and will definitely become a regular dish in my household! ... and don't forget the Trader Joe's Pineapple Salsa! :)
